    Digital Paid Media Specialist: MAH

    As a Paid Media Specialist/Digital Paid Media Specialist (MAH), within Connected Video/Showmax your primary responsibility is to execute paid media initiatives at a high standard to drive KPI growth.

    Key Performance Objectives

    • Effectively manage the paid search and paid social budgets order to maximize ROI.
    • Drive intentional traffic and convert into monthly paying subscribers at or below the benchmark CPA.
    • Suggest and execute weekly tests, collect and analyse data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in campaigns.
    • Allocate and modify budgets for efficient spending.


    • National Diploma or Equivalent NQF Level 6 Qualifications in Business Management or similar.
    • Grad Degree or Equivalent NQF Level 7 Qualifications in Marketing, Media or Communications.
    • Google Certifications.
    • Facebook Blueprint Certifications.


    • A minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience with proven ability to plan and execute all digital marketing, including but not limited to Google Ads, Google Marketing Platform, Facebook Business Manager, Twitter Ads, and A/B testing campaigns.
    • Experience working across Africa would be advantageous.
    • Have a good understanding of what creative will work well in each channel.
    • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in Digital Marketing.
    • Experience with website analytics tools such as but not limited to Google Analytics, PowerBi, and Amplitude.
    • Highly experienced with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
    • Strong analytical skills and experience generating SEM reports and post campaign analysis reports.
    • Excellent understanding of the numbers and aware of how performance marketing campaigns impact overall business results.
    • Good interpersonal skills, being able to explain to others, including senior leaders, what impact marketing is having beyond clicks and views.
    • Highly organized, creative, analytical and inquisitive, with excellent attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and writing skills a must.
    • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.
    • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
    • Multi-channel experience: conceptualizing for TV, radio, digital, social, print, etc
