    Digital Transformation Lead

    Purpose of the Position:

    The Digital Transformation Lead has responsibility for the co-ordination and delivery of multiple digital solutions across the digital business units and agile teams, by ensuring consistency in delivery approach through the PMOs and Group Digital structure, and by growing capability in people.   

    Key Performance Objectives Tasks

    Product Management

    • Drive design challenges which include implementing new features, improving existing ones and enhancing the look and cohesiveness of the entire experience.
    • Articulate the vision and value proposition to senior level clients (process x automation x transformation).




    Operational Delivery

    • Accountable for the effective resource planning, management, reporting and coordination of projects/initiatives to deliver change in line with availability and business requirements.
    • Define and implement, in conjunction with the Group Head Digital Enablement in terms of the direction of the overall group digital strategy
    • Ensure best practices and processes across the digital team for the consistent delivery of digital projects.
    • Orchestrate the vision, strategy and delivery of experience driven digital products and solutions.
    • Advocate agile approach to portfolio communication, and product lifecycle management for a successful digital transformation.
    • Build and present business case(s) for digital initiatives based on industry trends, business need and scalable growth.
    • Understand business objectives and goals, define the ways in which technology can enable them, establish the business case and translate these ideas into a multi-year digital transformation strategy and project roadmap that reflects business priorities.




    Stakeholder management

    • Manage relationships with third-party digital delivery partners, focusing on performance management against agreed SLA's and KPI's 
    • Work with the Group Head of Digital Enablement in coordinating and managing the annual digital team's delivery calendar, Roadmap and OGSM
    • The role will be accountable for creating a rousing vision for change, and to precisely articulate that vision and value proposition to senior/ executive level clients. It is only through building close collaborative relationships with our clients that Capgemini can deliver the outstanding efficiency for which we have become known, and we want you to play an essential part in doing this. 

     

    People management

    • Manage team members to ensure effective delivery of business unit objectives.
    • Develop a high performing team by embedding formal performance development and informal coaching. Encourage frequent knowledge sharing between team members.
    • Determine and analyze development needs for the team and ensure that identified training requirements are budgeted for and executed. § Interview and recruit new members of the team, including determining appropriate compensation levels with input from Human Capital.
    • Create effective workforce and recruitment demand plans to ensure that current and future business requirements can be met.
    • Review and update the department’s organization structure and role description on at least an annual basis to ensure that they are fit for purpose and contain all the accountabilities of each team member.
    • Approve leave requests for team members and create leave plan to ensure adequate coverage.
    • When required, initiate disciplinary processes for team members calling on support from Human Capital when required.

     

    Qualifications Essential:

    • Relevant post graduate degree and  UX Certifications
    • 10+ years’ experience as a User Experience professional
    • MBA would be advantageous


    Experience

    • 8+ year’s experience in the digital media industry
    • Extensive knowledge of publisher monetisation and the digital advertising ecosystem
    • Proven people management experience
    • Strong grasp of digital measurement
    • Expert in industry thought leadership on digital media
    • Good networker and people skills
    • Strong in Digital Analytic and Performance Marketing
    • Extremely strong communication skills and demonstrated success presenting in a clear and compelling manner to cross-functional stakeholders.

     

    Technical Competencies

    • Detail oriented, with strong organization and process skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under time constraints,
    • Strong visual and interaction design skills,
    • Agile Project Delivery Methodology and Tooling
    • HTML, CSS. JavaScript advantageous
    • Proficient in design software
