The Mobile Network Operator space represent a strategically important and commercially significant opportunity for Mastercard globally, and particularly in the Middle East and Africa region. The Global MNO Products and Solutions team is responsible for making great products, solutions and propositions for MNOs that delight the user and allow the MNO, mastercard and our partners, to achieve our goals of digitization, diversification and financial inclusion.
This role is responsible for designing, developing and bringing to market, great products and solutions that meet mastercard strategy and the needs in the MNO vertical, including MNO Customers, industry partners and end-users. This role works together with partners in mastercard sales and account management teams, and with/close to the customers.
This role takes a holistic approach to product and is ultimately responsible for creating the ‘right solution’; using the entire range of company products and services (Digital Solutions and beyond including Core, C&I, Data etc.) to construct the proposition that best meets the needs of the Mobile Network Operator vertical.
The right candidate must have a comprehensive understanding of the MNO, Mobile Money and payments industries, a deep and broad knowledge of MasterCard’s assets and capabilities, and a strategic and problem-solving mindset. He/she must be a strong communicator at an executive and senior management level, as well as have an equally sharp ability to listen, understand and interpret complex customer needs and market dynamics.
This role will be part of the Global Digital Solutions unit, within the Products & Innovation group.
This role will report to the Vice President, MNO Products & Solutions.
