    Distributor Sales Professional

    The Areas of Responsibility for this role include but are not limited to:

    • Plans sales volumes and potentials of target Business Partners.
    • Provides information via CRM for forecasts and planning based on inputs from the BP.
    • Analyses BP’s markets, strategy, position and needs, investigates and evaluates specific business opportunities for products.
    • Sets targets and monitors performance of BPs based on Service level Agreement between SHS and the BP.
    • Continuously analyses capacity, capability and resources within the BP and takes appropriate action
    • Prepares contacts and builds and maintains a customer focused network.
    • Supports distributors directly in cost-/benefits analyses and calculations in order to demonstrate specific advantages of using Siemens products.
    • Prepares and negotiates proposals in cooperation with other involved professionals and management.
    • Coordinates the realization of assignments, may coordinate and contribute to set up respective product developments, projects or services programs.
    • May act as point of contact in commercial matters.
    • Completes sales and revenue related key reporting.
       

    As a Distributor Sales Professional, you are further responsible to:

    • Gather & compile relevant market information
    • Maintain a data repository containing up-to-date data of all Business Partners
    • Seek potential partners
    • Evaluate the potential partner using the Partner Decision Tool
    • Inform the potential partner of required actions
    • Collect commercial information from the SHS South Africa Finance Department
    • Help define and agree on the strategy and targets for the relevant country and BP’s
    • Document & conduct the BP targets in the PTA tool.
    • Ensure that Business Partner Reviews (BPR) are executed, documented and actions are implemented
    • Initiate and finalise the Compliance Due Diligence (CDD) process and the monitoring review within timeframes,
    • Monitor the BP during the course of Siemens HC’s relationship with the BP and update & maintain the information in BP Tool
    • Ensure that the relevant HCCO is made aware immediately of any major changes to the BP’s organization (for e.g. change in name, change in shareholding or key employee etc.)
    • Negotiate and close business deals
    • Maintain extensive knowledge and understanding of the current market conditions in the region
    • Request BP Agreements from appropriate Siemens GmbH/Siemens Healthcare (Pty) Ltd (Legal Counsel)
       

    Qualifications And Experience

    • Health Sciences or relevant such as B.Tech.
    • Good understanding of In-Vivo and InVitro equipment.
    • Must be able to work independently.
    • Must be competent in interpersonal skills and show a capacity to manage others and deal with strong characters.
    • Must be exceptionally well organised, possess analytical and financial acumen as well as be able to manage contracts and their expirations.
    • You must be able to manage Auditors and work through due diligence.
    • You must have a good acumen for admin but must primarily be sales driven.
