    Finance Associate Manager - Capex Planning, AMESA Sector HQ

    Job Description

    • This role will be location free based in the following AMESA markets: Pakistan, India, Lebanon, Egypt or South Africa. It reports to the AMESA CAPEX and Productivity Finance Director and supports the delivery of AMESA Capex Planning & Reporting agenda.

    In this role, the incumbent’s responsibilities will be to:

    • Facilitate review and approvals of all Sector and Corporate threshold Capex, Post Audits, MYC, commercial and white space Capex investment proposals of allocated AMESA markets
    • Liaison with Corporate Capex planning team to facilitate and address Capex review queries
    • Support in the preparation of project level Capex AOP in close co-ordination with BUs and GBS team
    • Support in the preparation of AOP decks and templates for Sector and Corporate review/submissions
    • Quarterly Capex forecasting in close co-ordination with respective BUs and GBS team
    • Capex Monthly performance reporting and connect with respective BUs to understand reasons for variance
    • Assist in Quarterly and annual Capex transfer reporting to Corporate
    • Monthly Internal/Corporate Project pipelines finalization and reporting
    • Sustainability Capex projects reporting and tracking
    • Low cost capital tracking and reporting
    • Co-ordinate with Sector Engineering team on weekly basis to ensure project priorities of the allocated BUs are aligned and there is no gap in communications
    • Support CAPEX and Productivity Finance Director in all adhoc analysis and queries
    • AMESA Power User for BPM (Skelta) capex related workflow, ensuring tool implementation across sector, governance and administration of user access, organization hierarchy, SOAs. Trouble shooting issues in consultation with IT sustain team.
    • Support in AMESA Capex automations and reporting enhancement initiatives related to GBS
    • Co-Conduct Capex Planning training for BUs capability building
    • Capex governance, best practices, and SOA updates/improvement in consultation with Corporate & Control team and keeping BUs informed on the latest changes.
    • Help BU teams with all queries related to Capex Governance and Capex Best Practices
    • Support in managing invites for all Sector and Corporate CCMs

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • Extensive business partnering and analytical experience
    • Strong communication skills
    • Excellent memo and business case writing skills
    • Commercial and financial understanding
    • Investment appraisal and review
    • CPA, CA, MBA, Bachelor’s in Accounting
    • Around 10 years of experience, with exposure to financial planning / financial analysis / investment appraisal experience gained from multinational organizations
    • Technical master with seasoned judgement, pragmatic approach & problem-solving skills
    • Ability to operate in demanding environment with quick turnaround on deliverables
    • Strategic thinker who can effectively play it though to execution
    • Ability to handle projects with multiple workstreams & cross-function processes with multiple stakeholders at both senior and junior levels.
    • Team-oriented and collaborative approach to work
    • Ability to work with business leaders independently
    • Demonstrates high integrity in financial management and the flexibility needed to work effectively in a matrix organization
