    Footprint Specialist

    Footprint Specialist 

    As the world’s leading brewer, we at AB InBev family are always on the lookout for bold decision-makers, who are ready for responsibility and thirsty for innovation, to join our teams in Africa. We are looking for Footprint Specialist to based in Johannesburg. The key purpose of this role is to model the end to end supply network to ensure optimal production allocation and distribution to achieve best cost, to develop long term capacity and capability investment plans for the grid to support best cost and maintain capacity and capability standards.

    The key responsibilities of the Footprint Specialist (but not limited to):

    • Develop and maintain grid footprint network models​
    • Develop and maintain capacity and capability standards for the supply network​
    • Maintain necessary modelling cost data sources​
    • Prepare and model periodic grid footprint reviews in support of the business planning cycle​
    • Analyze model outputs to determine optimal investment opportunities​
    • Maintain capacity and capability investment options​
    • Determine optimal production allocation and distribution footprint​
    • Prepare business cases for capacity and capability​
    • Conduct adhoc business case modeling.
    • Determine best introduction scope for new product capability and capacity​
    • Scope of the role covers VOPS, Brewery & T1 distribution, T2 distribution and Innovation

    The ideal candidate is someone who is holds a BSc Ind Eng or BTech degree or Quantitative degree.​

    Miminum requirements include (but not limited to):

    • Knowledge of brewing, packaging & distribution management systems and processes​
    • deal candidate would have experience in business analytics or supply chain logistics planning​
    • Network/linear programming skills​
    • Excellent analytical skills​
    • Capital Investment evaluation skills​
    • Advanced Excel skills and database querying​
    • Excellent presentation, report drafting, and problem-solving skills ​
    • Must be capable of communicating effectively cross functionally with middle and senior management
