    Group Fresh Brands Controller (CL)

    Introduction
    A position has become available for a Group Fresh Brands Controller to join our dynamic team.

    Job Description
    The purpose of this role is to provide marketing and packaging support to the National Fresh Team (i.e., Butchery, Produce, Bakery and Home Meal Replacement) within SPAR South Africa with the purpose of delivering market share growth.
    Key Performance Areas:

    • Management and implementation of marketing campaigns for the National Fresh portfolio of products
    • Briefing, management and implementation of Guild campaigns throughout the year
    • Manage relationships with agencies on a day-to-day basis
    • Manage production process for members meetings and trade show
    • Manage packaging design process in line with brand architecture
    • Interface with Product Managers and Heads with regard to technical approval of campaigns
    • Supplier management – packaging – stock control, troubleshooting, communication and artwork updates
    • Packaging design and development management
    • Communications among regions and to retailers
    • Budget control within the scope of each project and in line with the overall Fresh Brands budget
    • Any other ad hoc duties as required by management

    Minimum Requirements

    • Matric
    • Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing
    • At least 3-5 years’ FMCG experience in marketing and advertising
    • Previous experience within SPAR Group advertising or marketing is preferred
    • Experience in managing multiple campaigns simultaneously is essential
    • Proficient in various software programmes (MS Office [advanced Excel and PowerPoint]; SPAR Marketing systems knowledge is advantageous)

    Business Analyst

    Job Description
    The purpose of the Business Analyst is to deliver business benefit to SPAR through targeted IT and Business initiatives that are aligned to the business strategy and objectives. The incumbent must ensure desired business outcomes are realised through collaboration, communication, planning and resourcing, as well as facilitate business requirements for IT processes and act as a System Specialist.

    Key Performance Areas

    • Identify opportunities in the functional area in which they are operating for business process improvements
    • Lobby for support and reach consensus within the functional area in all SPAR Group countries at both central and regional locations
    • Engage with business users and management to gather requirements for solution design
    • Prepare and document agreed end to end business processes in SAP Solution Manager
    • Participate in all areas of the SAP modernization program as a business analyst
    • Prepare functional test cases to ensure functional requirements are met
    • Hand over to roll out teams for further location roll-out and operational technical teams for ongoing support
    • Ad hoc duties as required by management

    Minimum Requirements

    • Matric
    • Relevant tertiary qualification (BCom or equivalent)
    • In depth knowledge of one or more S4/Hana modules including but not limited to Pricing, Finance, Merchandising, Promotions, EWM and/or Sales and Distribution
    • A minimum of 5 years’ IT related experience preferably in the SAP ERP and Business Analysis stream

    Creditors Recon Clerk

    Job Description
    To ensure timely and correct reconciling of all creditor’s accounts from ledger to the suppliers’ statements and payments.

    Key Performance Areas

    • To prepare creditors reconciliations timeously, ensuring clear reconciling monthly
    • To prepare payment requests accurately with all supporting documentation according to deadlines set
    • To pay creditors
    • To process claims accurately and timeously
    • To file creditors documentation accurately and neatly
    • To reconcile high volumes of accounts on a weekly and monthly basis
    • To process and follow up on claims
    • Handling claims from suppliers and stores
    • To assist with data capturing

    Minimum requirements

    • Grade 12 senior certificate
    • 4 years in reconciling high volumes of accounts
    • Display a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
    • FMGC experience will be advantageous
    • Must be proficient in MS Excel

    Personal Attributes

    • Process excellent numerical and organisational skills
    • Be comfortable working within a team
    • Be able to cope under pressure and ensure deadlines are met
    • Ability to liaise with suppliers
