    Global Supplier Enablement Specialist

    Lead and coordinate the implementation, optimisation and ongoing management of how suppliers transact with our Supply Chain business processes and systems and across the Group. The focus of this role is to support the digital transformation of Supply Chain, ensuring suppliers transact optimally across the systems landscape.

    Supply Chain’s purpose is to:

    •  Deliver sustainable cost and working capital reductions across our operations and projects
    •  Proactively leverage supply market opportunities and supplier partnerships to create a competitive advantage
    •  Eliminate value leakage by managing supplier performance through the contract lifecycle
    •  Work together to improve service delivery at our operations
    •  Contribute, through local procurement, to socioeconomic development in our host communities
    •  Drive for a costeffective Supply Chain through streamlined processes and smart systems

    Your key responsibilities will include:

    •  Lead the definition and execution of supplier enablement strategy in accordance with Supply Chain standards & systems landscape
    •  Lead the supplier enablement analysis including defining criteria and timelines for enablement
    •  Coordinate enablement with Supply Chain stakeholders and suppliers to enable optimal digital buying channels
    •  Manage the execution of all supplier enablement activities (Systems enablement, master data validation and cleansing, change and communication, training, support and process stabilisation)
    •  Manage the supplier enablement roadmap in accordance with systems enablement plan and technology platform updates
    •  Monitor effectiveness of supplier support through managing applicable resolver group
    •  Manage content creation for electronic catalogues in collaboration with category owners
    •  Provide input into test scripts for system and perform the tests and document test results
    •  Assist in driving effective change through the organisation that will promote the use and adoption of standards, processes and systems across the supplier base
       

    What we’re looking for

    Formal qualifications:

    • Essential: An undergraduate qualification (Bachelors degree or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
    • Desirable: A postgraduate qualification (Honours/ Masters/ Doctoral degree or equivalent) in commercial related field

    Knowledge of:

    •  Experience/exposure to Supply Chain processes over a period exceeding 4 years,would be considered essential
    •  Experience in Business to Business systems and supplier enablement
    •  Experience in electronic catalogue and content management
    •  Experience in cloud procurement solutions
    •  A proven track record in the relevant systems, specifically SAP Ariba,will be a considerable advantage
    •  Excellent change and relationship management capability
    •  Extensive relevant professional experience leading an initiative 
    •   within a global and multidisciplinary context
    •  Experience in the Mining industry and/or procurement function
    •  Technical Skills and Social Process Skills

    •  Evidence of ability to complete work of II complexity
    •  This work involves analysis, reflection and the use of data over a longer period of time,in order to anticipate problems. It requires knowledge of the overall system and focuses on  the direct application and improvement of system
