Head of Product at Peresec

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical strategic input to executive function of the business
• Define, implement, and manage the overall technical strategy to support the business in the areas of product delivery and client experience
• Lead initiatives for new product and feature development by eliciting requirements from sales-orientated divisions and executive management
• Create and facilitate high-level prioritization decision-making structures to ensure alignment with business strategy
• Develop and oversee managerial structures of the technical area of the business
• Internal and external stakeholder management
• Facilitate engagement between divisional heads and technical teams to ensure innovative and timely solutions
• Provide mentorship to technical team members

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Degree in technical field of study (Computer Science, Informatics, Engineering, etc.) or strong technical experience with a financial qualification (Accounting, Finance, Economics)
• 8+ years hands-on experience in digital transformation, digital product channels, product development and/or product management in financial services with a preference for capital markets
• Strong balance between, and experience in, high-level strategic thinking and attention to detail
• High levels of emotional intelligence coupled with strong written and verbal communication skills to engage with various stakeholders
• Structured and logical thinking to tackle complex projects and initiatives
• Ambitious self-starter who enjoys driving initiatives and organizational change
• Technical financial knowledge of capital markets and/or stockbroking will be an advantage (equities, listed derivatives, OTC derivatives, structured products, leveraged products, trade execution, trading platforms, settlements, etc.)
