    Head of Retail CE & IM

    Head: Retail Marketing Manager (Mobile and Consumer Electronics)

    Key areas of responsibility

    • Head Retail Marketing Manager:
    • Mobile (handsets, wearables, accessories, tablets) and
    • Consumer Electronics (TVs, fridges, washing machines, microwaves, dish washers etc)

    MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    • To manage the Field Agency processes IM and CE division working with the agency Retail Hub managers and OSM’s
    • Managing the weekly and day to day performance in sales and IHS for the Regional managers (WC, EC, IN, GP, KZN).
    • Effectively align internal channel briefs and GTM plans in-store activity and thereby increase sales.
    • Build tactical plans with Key Channel Partners to drive sell-out. Actively ensure OOS on key SKU’s are
    • Maintain and Increase In House Shares across the retail landscape
    • Develop tactical plans with business partners within retail to ensure Samsung Objectives are maintained.
    • Reporting back on retail performance to all key stakeholders
    • Market Sensing feedback
    • Visual Merchandising audits across the market and quick fix executions
    • Supplier Management
    • Brand soldiers.
    • Megaworx
    • Smartlife
    • MCS system.
    • GCSM
    • Retail mapping: mall and store grading linked to performance.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    •       A relevant retail qualification

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of 10 years retail sales experience
    • Electronics and/or mobile experience
    • FMCG / Retail experience
    • Relationship Management
    • Retail marketing
    • Retail environment including Mall management experience.

     Manage full operations level staff nationally.

    • Recruitment of staff
    • Management of staff KPI’s
    • KPI setting & retail performance management
    • Targets and achievement rate management
    • Managing compliance
    • Retail Sales Execution
    • Time Management of all staff including call diaries.
    • Weekly and monthly brief and directives

    Data analysis

    • Sales data reconciliation
    • Market trends and improvement ideas
    • Competitor information and market performance
    • Identify markets and where to invest

    Look for new opportunities to expand retail business to drive sell out

    Other Key Activities

    • Development of the Training for CE and IM products.
    • Train and inform the Product Consultant
    • Liaise and communicate with Retail agencies
