    Description

    • The Research Operations Team are looking for a target-driven professional to help us develop and grow our network of industry experts. This includes the recruitment, onboarding, and management of senior professionals, who are an authority in a particular field of interest to Euromonitor and who engage with our market researchers in ad-hoc paid telephone consultations.

Hence, the Expert Headhunter, EMEAI, although an entry position, plays a critical role in helping our research teams’ surface critical industry insights.
    • Reporting to the Global Research Operations Lead and being part of the Global Research Operations Team, you will be responsible for finding and adding new experts from across a wide spectrum of FMCG and B2B industries in EMEAI, and globally as required by project requirements and team capacity. You will be working in a fast-paced environment that involves sourcing, connecting with, pitching to, and onboarding experts in cycles of 1-2 weeks. Responsibilities also include supporting other activities related to the strategic priorities of the Global ROps team.
    • Qualified applicants will have significant experience headhunting talent. You will be resourceful, curious, and naturally enjoy networking with people inside and outside of Euromonitor.

    Key responsibilities

    • Use different online sources such as LinkedIn and desk research to proactively research, network and recruit subject matter experts to participate in our research studies via phone interviews and advisory consultations.
    • Evaluate and vet prospective experts’ match to project specifications by conducting telephone screenings.
    • Contacting and pitching to a large number of experts using effective sales and recruiting techniques. This involves providing prospects with an overview of Euromonitor’s methodologies and processes.
    • Master and maintain tracking files and tools and see to their efficient and effective use by all relevant staff.
    • Onboard all new experts and provide them with our induction material and relevant log-in to our expert management system.
    • Ensure that all experts have an overview of Euromonitor before joining the panel, as well as all the required knowledge on T&Cs, compliance and Privacy Policy.
    • Lead the management, project allocation, evaluation and compensation of the expert pool.
    • Leverage best sources for each country in which we operate and improve processes for recruiting experts.
    • Actively participate in the ideation, planning and execution of continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Ensure that experts are used most effectively through offices in the region e.g. in projects under the identified regional growth priorities.
    • Support on internal trainings regarding best practices on expert panel, as well as other ROps initiatives as required.

    Requirements

    • A Business and Management Bachelor’s or a degree in a related field such as Human Resources.
    • Experience in headhunting and interviewing internationally (3+ years ideally), preferably for consulting and/or market research clients.
    • Advanced business communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal as the role requires persuading and negotiating with senior industry experts, i.e. director level and above.
    • Expert direct searches or expert networking experience is ideal. Experience in market research is a plus.
    • Proficient usage of social media and online advertising.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and great ability to energetically position the company and project opportunities.
    • Autonomous and self-motivated.
    • Great executer but with long-term strategic vision.
    • Oral and written fluency in English and a second language from the region (ideally French or German)
    • Natural aptitude to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
