    HR Manager

    We are looking for a professional and influential team player, who can add significant value to the HR function of the business unit. The position is an exciting and challenging opportunity that will require the successful candidate to contribute significantly to enabling people objectives and growth plans.

    Key Responsibility Areas

    Recruitment

    • Partnering with Hiring Managers and Recruitment to ensure quality placements (bulk & leadership positions)

    Employee Induction & On-boarding

    • Induction and On-boarding of all new hires

    Employee Engagement

    • Ensuring that all employee queries are managed and resolved in a proactive and timely manner to ensure a climate of high performance and positive morale

    Talent Management

    • Management of performance, personal development plans and probation of new starters
    • Providing feedback and coaching to ensure that all managers have the skills and competencies to manage and lead their people effectively

    Retention Management

    • Focus on reducing attrition through various initiatives
    • Conducing exit interviews and post-exit follow-ups and reporting on trends

    IR, ER and Discipline Management

    • Full management of IR with stakeholders
    • CCMA case management and representing the company at the CCMA

    HR Administration, Analytics and Reporting

    • Compiling, maintaining and analysing HR analytics in order to optimize decision-making
    • Facilitating efficient, timeous and accurate HR & IR administration & documentation
    • Compiling reports & decks for internal and external reviews

    QUALIFICATIONS AND LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • A relevant Bachelor’s degree qualification in Human Resource Management/Industrial Psychology
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Sr. HR Generalist
    • A solid working knowledge of the latest Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
    • A sound working knowledge of all SA labour legislation
    • Solid experience in organisational development
    • Ability to lead and manage a team
