    HRD Trainer Open Pit

    Job Description

    Responsible to execute practical mining skills training and assessment for A1-B7 employees including mining skills programmes. Executes training and assessment in an unconstrained and constrained area. Execution and delivery of Generic Induction. The maintenance of applicable MQA accreditation criteria in a designated area to ensure competence.

    Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Executed operational mining skills development for competency.
    • Compliance to training and assessment with approved methodology and learning material (learning delivery system).
    • Compliance to the Mine Health and Safety Act.
    • Training resources in compliance with best practice.
    • Compliance in terms of MQA and QCTO requirements
    • Executed and delivered Generic Induction & Equipment Operating Skills
    • Progressive reports on predetermined targets for mining skills development.
    • Relationships with relevant stakeholders.
    • Continuous evaluation

    Qualifications

    • Grade 12 (Maths and Physical Science)
    • Certificate of competence in 2 Open Pit Mining Operator occupations
    • NQF 4 OD ETDP Certificate
    • Assessor Certificate
    • 3 years’ Mining experience
    • 2 years’ as HRD Facilitator – advantageous
    • Operator experience
    • Must have a valid Driver’s license
    • Fluent in English (written, verbal and reading)
    • Medical assessment will be required.
