    Human Resources Manager

    Human Resources Job Responsibilities:

    • Translates business requirements into effective HR practices.
    • Develops annual HR strategic plan to support the business area.
    • Takes ownership of talent management for the business area.
    • Agree suitable strategies to ensure talent pipelines are in place at leadership, technical and operational levels to meet performance and growth objectives of the business area.
    • Work closely with Department Heads to identify Talent requirements and manage the recruitment process.
    • Facilitate and drive change transformation initiatives across the business area.
    • Identifies projects and HR initiatives in line with business area needs
    • Provide high level people management advice, guidnce, support.
    • Implements people processes and practices and ensure legal compliance
    • Acts as first point of contact for any employee relations issues
    • Develops and maintains ER/IR policies and procedures in accordance with labour law leglislation
    • Manages the annual salary review process
    • Support business in developing their EE plan including numerical targets and AA actions

    Qualifications:

    • Postgraduate qualification in Behavioural Sciences/Business Management

    Knowledge and Experience:

    • 5-8 years experience in a senior human resources role covering all areas of the function
    • HR Management experience
    • Tech savvy
    • Managed relationships with senior leaders
    • Service delivery role experience. Specialist in ER/IR field. Industry experience.
    • Knowledgeable about HR practices: recruitment, talent development, performance management,
    • facilitation, legislation, labour relations, leadership and organisational development, change management and remuneration

    • Business accumen
    • General HR Consulting skills
    • Ability to build and maintain good internal and external relationships
    • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersional skills.
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
    • High degree of self management, displaying an organised approach to workload and clients
    • Organisational development and change management
    • Time Management skills (ability to plan and prioritise tasks)
