IT Governance Officer at e4 Strategic

Responsible for the definition, implementation, monitoring and auditing of standards, policies and procedures for the effective management of IT governance that ensures that the required IT control and governance practices are established and implemented in order that IT goals deliver value and mitigate risks such than they support the business needs of the organisation. This role exists to help support effective IT governance and coordinate good practice adoption across the IT function and the organization.

Minimum requirements:

• Information Management or IT Related Degree/Diploma
• CISA, CRISC, COBIT, ITIL certification
• 8 years plus related experience in IT governance
• Knowledge of Service Management

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Establishing and maintaining a documented IT governance regime to support the development, communication and implementation of robust information governance processes, policies and practices across e4;
• Collect information and review documentation to ensure that risk scenarios are identified and evaluated
• Maintaining the IT departmental risk register to ensure best practice risk mitigation and assessment functions are maintained to comply with company’s strategy;
• Coordinating efforts to support any IT audits and system investigations;
• Working with IT colleagues to improve documented policies, processes and procedures;
• Provide expert advice and support the IT Management to deliver services as required and manage the overall IT plans and budget from planning and governance point of view;
• Communicate the governance activities, policies and decisions with the IT management and business leadership and keep them informed of IT governance decisions that will affect IT services and projects;
• Develop a risk awareness program and conduct training to ensure that stakeholders understand risk and contribute to the risk management process and to promote a risk-aware culture.;
• Accurately and completely document current state of business processes and workflows;
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and process owners to ensure all design requirements adequately reflect the defined business processes and fully support all components of the functional business requirements.
