Key Performance Outputs

The successful candidate, reporting to the Manager Information Technology will be responsible for the following:

• Assist the Technical Team to develop and maintain a database of data, trends and innovation for IT;
• Prioritize suppliers for the application of performance improvement processes;
• Assist the Business Analysts on Benefits Realisation strategies;
• Ensure that sourcing strategies are communicated, applied and updated;
• Monitor and track cost savings and ensure reporting thereof;
• Work with Service integration and Service Development Teams to determine business requirements and assist in scope development and sourcing strategies to meet those requirements;
• Identify high impact cost reduction opportunities;
• Be responsible for end-to-end Tender processes (From Demand requisition to Cross Functional Sourcing Team (CFST), RFQ process, Modifications, Restricted Bids and any other submission to the BAC);
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, procedures and applicable prescripts;
• Compile, submit and present various reports;
• Manage ACSA’s risk exposure through identification, implementation and maintenance of risk control measures to minimise the company’s liability;
• Assist with the management of procurement projects; and
• Work with the teams to develop a Benefits Realization Plan and Processes and assist in the review of relevant clauses for Benefits Realization in the Scope of Services. Assist in contract close out process.

Technical Skills and Experience

The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such, will be required:

• Bachelor’s Degree/ B.Tech in Procurement, Supply Chain Management and/or similar  qualification;
• Minimum of 4 years professional experience in Supply Chain Management/ Procurement Environment specializing in IT procurement;
• Minimum of 4 years' Strategic Sourcing Implementation and execution (IT & Infrastructure);
• Knowledge of Procurement Principles and Practices (particularly Broad-Based Black;
• Economic Empowerment (BBBEE);
• Knowledge of KING IV, PFMA, PPPFA and PAIA;
• Knowledge of Project Management; and
• Proficiency in ERP systems e.g. Oracle is critical in this role;
