IT Superintendent - Networks at Glencore

Role Purpose

• The purpose of this role is to maintain and improve Datacentre Networks, Wide Area Networks and the IT Technical Security Landscape in order to support business needs.

Role Requirements
Minimum Qualifications

• A 3 year relevant Tertiary Qualification.
• Fortigate NSE4 Certificate.
• Cisco CCNP Certificate.

Minimum Experience

• 5 Years’ experience in Datacentre Networking.
• Experience in Cisco, Cisco Nexus, WSA, ESA, Fortigate, FortiManager, VMWare, Symantec suite of security products.
• Mining Industry experience will be advantageous.
• Ability to drill into the detail of issues to determine root cause whilst considering urgency, importance, risk and reward factors.
• Ability to work consistently hard to achieve deliverables and honour commitments made.
• Ability to inspire and foster commitment, pride and trust amongst team members by taking a democratic approach, seeking and valuing contributions and encouraging collaboration.
• Ability to create shared meaning by clearly and confidently communicating the relevant information to a decision or task, in a verbal format.

• Maintaining current systems and solutions and ensuring operational efficiency.
• Updating and developing solutions to support changing business needs.
