    Treasurer

    ABOUT THE POSITION

     

    PRIMARY PURPOSE
    Provide general treasury services to the corporate clients and internal customers of Bidvest Bank

    FINANCE

    Management of costs and budgets Provide competitive pricing to internal and external customers.
    Ensure that all trades are executed profitably for the Bank

    • Manage and control efficiencies to alleviate losses

    • Deal with Corporate clients directly;

      Service Excellence Manage the day to day operations with due cognisance of:

    • Levels & quality of service delivery as experienced by internal & external stakeholders.

    • Responsiveness: Speed of responses, reaction time, going the extra mile, turnaround time

    • Degree of customer satisfaction from customers

    • Output results from "client servicing" activities. Includes value of advice to customers &/or stakeholders

    • Assist with the review of funding plans and contingency and recovery plans

    • Daily liaison with all relevant Stakeholders, advise on risks

    • Ensure policies are adhered to and reviewed when market or regulatory changes occur

    • Communicate possible changes to all departments and advise Executives to facilitate decision making

    • Maintain close relationships with other firms in order to support business in this area

    • Keep up-to-date with interest rate movements and currency fluctuations internationally through daily studying of country and international economic indicators, etc.

    • Responsible for FX products across spot markets

      Risk Management

    • Comply with internal and external regulatory requirements

    • Raise and discuss any issues regarding system/process weaknesses as identified for internal systems and controls to be implemented

    Card Fraud Manager

    ABOUT THE POSITION

    PRIMARY PURPOSE
    Manage and lead a team of Card Fraud Investigators and Analysts which will include investigating matters relating to card fraud for both issuing and acquiring - Fraud, Identified Risks and Dispute's by analysing, planning, mitigating, investigating, organizing and responsibly managing the operational area for rigorous fraud detection, investigations and disputes while protecting Customers and the Bank.

    ABOUT THE POSITION

    Bidvest Bank is looking for a Finance Manager for their Personal and Business Banking department.

    Primary Purpose:

    Finance Managers will focus on partnering, forward looking, large scale and/or high-impact commercial and investment decisions and support effective financial planning within their area of responsibility.     Credit Analyst

    ABOUT THE POSITION

    To assess and process applications for Lending Applications as well as monitor various other collateral functions.

    FINANCE
