    Underground electrical Supervisor

    Main Purpose Of Job

    • To supervise and control Electrical (discipline specific) construction execution at Project Site(s) in a manner that meets Global, Location and customer contractual requirements.
    • To maintain collaborative and close work relationships with the multi-disciplinary Project Site Teams in carrying out the business objectives of the Worley Construction Unit in a cost-effective manner.

    Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities

    • Ensure Safety and Environmental Compliance Management requirements are met.
    • Manage and co-ordinate PTO’s (Planned Task Observations) with contracting parties.
    • Perform Discipline Specific Construction & Installation management.
    • Provide Construction planning input during the project execution phase.
    • Undertake Schedule Management.
    • Evaluate regularly the performance of Construction relative to the project schedule and other agreed objectives.
    • Integrate Compliance (SHERQ) HSE; Risk and Quality Management in construction works.
    • Manage the injury incident reporting process for Project sites involving Worley employees
    • Carry out regular reviews of electrical workload, manpower utilization and staffing requirements, to ensure both the adequacy and efficiency of all assigned staff.
    • Perform Site Administration Duties.
    • Manage the site documentation related to electrical discipline contractors.

    Experience
    Essential Skills/Experience:

    • 5 to 10 years of experience as site electrical supervisor Underground Mining
    • Electrical installation project environment experience advantageous

    Special Conditions Attached To The Job

    • Must be prepared to work on sites away from home office on a permanent basis.

    Flexibility to travel and / operate from anywhere continentally / internationally.
    Education

    • Minimal ND Technical Qualification (Electrical Heavy Current). Electrical Trade test (HC)

    Underground Mining Supervisor

    Main Purpose Of Job

    • To supervise and control Mining (Underground) construction execution at Project Site(s) in a manner that meets Global, Location and customer contractual requirements.
    • To maintain collaborative and close work relationships with the multi-disciplinary Project Site Teams in carrying out the business objectives of the Worley Construction Unit in a cost-effective manner.

    Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities

    • Ensure Safety and Environmental Compliance Management requirements are met.
    • Manage and co-ordinate DSTI’s (Daily Safety Task Inspections) with contracting parties.
    • Perform Construction Management (Shaft / Underground Mining).
    • Prepare appropriate reports and disseminate the report / matters arising throughout Construction Operations.
    • Undertake Schedule Management.
    • Evaluate regularly the performance of construction relative to the project schedule and other agreed objectives.
    • Integrate Compliance (SHERQ) HSE; Risk and Quality Management in construction works.
    • Manage all site based QCP’s through the mechanical site contractors, utilising WORLEY standard documents as a minimum standard.
    • Perform Site Administration Duties.
    • Ensure progress and performance of contractors is constantly being recorded.
    • Draw up all necessary documents/reports required.

    Essential Skills/Experience

    Experience:

    • 5 to 10 years of experience in underground mining works.
    • Underground Civil experience. Underground Mechanical experience
    • Mining construction experience is critical, with particular focus on supervising large underground mining construction and related installation projects

    Special Conditions Attached to The Job:

    • Must be prepared to work on sites away from home office on a permanent basis.
    • Flexibility to travel and / operate from anywhere continentally / internationally.
    • Education: 
    • Minimal ND Technical Qualification (on Mine Engineering), Trade Tested artisan status in a mine engineering related trade.
    • Civil qualification would be advantageous
    • Mechanical qualification would be advantageous, Relevant industry accredited / Government regulated underground Mine Certification for underground Mine Supervisor role.

    Senior Field Engineer

    Main Purpose Of Job

    •  To manage Site Field construction execution at the Afungi Site(s) (Mozambique) in a manner that meets Global, Location and customer contractual requirements.
    •  To develop collaborative and close work relationships with the multi-disciplinary Project Site Teams in carrying out the business objectives of the Worley Construction Unit in a cost-effective manner.

    Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities

    •  Ensure Safety and Environmental Compliance Management requirements are met.
    •  Act as an Ambassador of the Company in all aspects of SHERQ & IR.
    •  Perform Construction Management.
    •  Prepare appropriate reports and disseminate the reports / matters arising throughout Construction Operations as necessary.
    •  Undertake Schedule Management.
    •  Evaluate regularly the performance relative to project schedules, budgets and other agreed objectives.
    •  Integrate Compliance (SHERQ) HSE; Risk and Quality Management in construction works.
    •  Comply with Company and client secrecy agreements pertinent to Construction Operations.
    •  Perform Site Administration Duties.
    •  Carry out regular reviews of workloads, manpower utilization and staffing requirements, to ensure both the
    • adequacy and efficiency of all assigned staff.

     Skills

    Essential Skills/Experience:

    •  Understanding of the legal requirements of the MHSA and OHS Act. Knowledge of applicable codes, and legislation as in the Act & Regulations/

     Experience

    •  Understanding of required governances.
    •  Min 10 years of experience as a Site Field Engineer,  Have a good understanding of legislative requirements, System acquisition would be an added advantage.

     Education

    • Civil Technical Diploma. Registered with ECSA would be advantageous, Concrete institute qualification
    • would be advantageous
