    Sustainability & Integrated Reporting Manager

    Job description

    Job specification

    • Project management including managing multiple deadlines, productivity, liaising with clients and project supervisors,  etc
    • Conduct research – relevant topics- converting into thought leadership, articles, opinion pieces
    • Conduct field work – transcribing interview notes, compiling spreadsheets, auditing non- financial data, obtaining and reviewing documentation, engaging with clients, converting research into deliverables, etc
    • Write reports to a high standard
    • Execute appropriate strategies as part of projects as applicable
    • Conduct presentations
    • Development and maintenance of positive relationships with clients
    • Engage in relevant marketing activities
    • Network at conferences, functions etc
    • Admin duties as required

    Skills and experience required

    • Relevant undergraduate/honours degree i.e. Climate Change Finance, Environmental Economics, Environmental Management, Chemical Engineering, Social Science
    • Excellent working knowledge of Excel (advanced)
    • Working knowledge of MS Word, MS PowerPoint and Outlook
    • Experience in providing assurance on non- financial information using ISAE 3000 and/ or ISAE 3410 is a must and will be required to demonstrate such
    • Ability to engage at all levels, both verbally and in writing
    • Strong thinking skills –analytical, big picture, creative, realistic, possibility, detailed, focused
    • Accounting and financial knowledge – able to read, understand and make recommendations based on financial information or environmental knowledge- practical knowledge or experience in dealing with environmental and social issues and challenges
    • Economic knowledge an advantage
    • Good project management skills
    • Good manager of self
    • Interpersonal skills, able to develop lasting relationships with people
    • Keen awareness of the macro economic climate in South Africa
    • 3 to 5 years working experience

    Office hours

    • 08:00-17:00
