    Manager - Claims Hub

    Report Line: Executive Officer: Claims and Support

    Purpose of the Role:

    LegalWise seeks to employ a Claims Hub Manager to effectively manage LegalWise business unit consisting of 15 (fifteen) staff members within budget and to ensure effective growth and service excellence as required by the company.

    You will be responsible for:

    • Staff management including training, relations, recruitment, performance assessments,development and administration;
    • Financial responsibilities which include managing actual to budgets, resource and budgetplanning, premium income and petty cash control.
    • Service centre and member customer service management.
    • Liaison responsibilities within the company, external companies and Attorneys.
    • Identifying the training needs for service providers
    • Development responsibilities including development and implementation of quality  service delivery and effective implementation of new processes, systems and tariffs.
    • Administration responsibilities including claims reporting, reporting of all responsibilitiesto senior management and maintaining appropriate claims administrative and staffrecords.
    • Product and service delivery and administration in accordance with company guidelines,  rules and standards.
    • Maintenance of relationships and liaising with branches, attorney branches and serviceproviders.
    • Ensuring service levels are adhered to as per agreements with preferred panel attorneys.

    Qualifications and experience required:

    • Experience in respect of budget management, human resource practices and operations essential
    • Minimum of 5 years’ Legal experience
    • Minimum of 2 – 3 years ‘experience in a supervisor or management level position essential
    • Completed Legal Degree (LLB, BProc, Bjuris or BA Law) essential
    • Relevant formal Management qualification advantageous
    • Must be an Admitted Attorney
    • Claims administration knowledge and experience
    • Computer literate (MS Word, Excel and internet)

    Other requirements:

    • Driver’s license and own transport essential
    • Must relocate at own cost
    • ITC/criminal check will be a requirement
