    Manager Human Relations (Limpopo)

    The key focus of the role is to create a peaceful climate for industrial peace by proactively developing and maintaining leading/current best practice systems and interventions that enhance mutual relations amongst the stakeholders, compliance with legislative requirements, whilst being guided by the strategic direction of the business. Effective communication systems and management of Employee Wellness aspects of the business are within the ambit of Employee Relations, including the collective bargaining process with organized labour.

    Key responsibilities will include:

    • Implementation of Employee Relations business plan and strategy in the form of capacity building interventions and systems development designed to add value to business and HR strategies.
    • Sourcing and retaining leading and cost-effective legal advisors to ensure high quality and business focused interventions.
    • Managing the training and development of HR Trainees.
    • Managing the Employee Wellness Programme within the company.
    • Advising and coaching leaders in the application of ER systems and strategies.
    • Ensuring industrial stability by the mutual engagement with organized labour in the development and implementation of systems that underpin the relationship between stakeholders and the review of conditions of employment.
    • Understanding client needs and business-related people issues and consulting with clients and engaging with communities as needs arises.
    • Managing all employee related processes and procedures in line with legislation and business needs e.g. disputes.
    • Developing and maintaining employment law related policies and procedures to ensure compliance within the organization.
    • Creating a climate in which individuals and teams develop their potential and contribute their best.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Tertiary Qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or Labour Law.
    • The incumbent must have worked in a unionised environment for a period not less than 5 years at management level.
    • Extensive Bargaining and CCMA experience.
    • Intimate knowledge of Labour legislations such as LRA, BCEA, EEA and SDA.
    • Proficient in MS Office package.
