    Manager: Regional Sales

    LegalWise seeks to employ a Manager: Regional Sales, with the responsibility of effectively managing the sales operational areas in terms of people, resource allocation, budgeting and processes to ensure the achievement of strategic objectives and targets.  

    You will be responsible for:

    • Managing the operational strategy by implementing, driving, measuring and monitoring the achievement of the strategic objectives and targets.
    • Identifying, developing and executing best practice in operations which are fit for purpose.
    • The achievement of performance standards and sales targets as set out by the Company.
    • Developing and implementing appropriate controls and processes to monitor and enhance operational efficiencies.
    • Appropriately allocating relevant resources to enable people to effectively fulfil their roles.
    • Effective problem-solving in respect of operational sales activities.
    • Overseeing the sound utilisation of Company assets by the team inclusive of residences, vehicles, mobile devices, mall kits, etc.
    • Acting as a custodian of the LegalWise brand ensuring adherence to relevant policies and procedures, which include, but are not limited to brand standards, uniform standard operating procedures etc.
    • Effectively using management information to manage Sales operational areas and to identify opportunities, risks, trends and possible areas to drive sales production, cost saving and efficiency improvements.
    • Demonstrating an understanding of relevant legislation governing business practices within the financial services industry.
    • Identifying areas of non-compliance and implementing appropriate internal controls to mitigate such risks in collaboration with the Internal Audit, Compliance and Risk Departments. 

    Qualifications and Experience Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Sales and/or Marketing or recognised equivalent (NQF level 7).
    • Relevant formal management qualification advantageous.
    • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in management level position in Sales essential (preferably within financial services).
    • Experience in respect of budget management, Human Resource practices and Operations essential.
    • Territory sales planning and execution on a tactical and operational level essential.
    • Must be computer literate.

    Skills and Competencies Required:

    • Excellent people skills and able to liaise professionally and effectively on all levels.
    • Progressive thinking and planning.
    • Problem solving abilities and negotiation skills.
    • Must be proficient in English and any other official African language/s

    Other Requirements:

    • Must relocate on own cost.
    • ITC/criminal check will be a requirement.
    • Applicable Psychometric assessment/s will be a requirement.
    • Must have valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
    • Must be willing to travel.
