    MANAGING EXECUTIVE: INDIRECT SALES

    The Managing Executive is accountable for designing, implementing and driving the Indirect Sales Channel portfolio to support Telkom Consumer’s business plan sales targets. The Indirect Sales channel implements and drives innovative strategies and plans to expand the channel and strategic partnerships on a national level, and also to increase the regional market shares in all the nine provinces of South Africa.

    The primary functions of the Managing Executive for Indirect Sales are to

    • Design, implement and establish the Indirect Channel distribution network in conjunction with relevant stakeholders for the best benefit to Telkom consumer.
    • Indirect Channel business development to achieve sales targets for the channel.
    • Develop Indirect Sales Revenue Strategies for the service organisation consisting of the primary supporting indirect sales channels.
    • Implement Indirect Sales go-to market plans to ensure effective customer take-up, retention and growth.
    • Provide team leadership by directing, motivating and empowering the team to deliver against performance targets, to develop and coach direct reports, setting appropriate standards of behaviour and enhance team effectiveness.

    QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    •  Relevant 3-year degree (NQF level 7), preferably in a sales/ marketing/ business-related field. An MBA will be an advantage.
    • 10 Years relevant experience in sales, of which at least 2 years should have been in an executive leadership level.
