    Marketing Automation Manager

    We are looking for a CVM Automation Manager to help shape and evolve our CRM strategy and execute across email, push, in-app and SMS through our marketing automation tool Braze. 

    Responsibilities

    • Day-to-day execution and strategic manager of engagement-based CRM marketing with a focus on automation, retaining, and delivering value to DStv app users.
    • Building and delivering a CVM strategy across all direct channels within the marketing automation platform. 
    • Assist with the production of lifecycle programs, including email, push, and in-app campaigns for both app and web products. 
    • Setup, scheduling and deployment as well as support in reporting and post mortems back to the business. 
    • Utilize cross functional resources effectively (including Content, Engineering, Data Science/Analytics, Product Management teams).
    • analyse and document campaign results to inform business decisions within tools such as Power-Bi and Amplitude. 

    Qualifications/Experience

    • A Degree in Business Management / Marketing or equivalent qualification.
    • A minimum of 4-7 years of product management / CRM marketing experience/analytics background.
    • Strong analytical background.
    • Process orientated strong documentation, coordination, and project management skills.

    Technical Competencies

    • Experience in online CRM and campaign management tools and any other personalised digital tools.
    • Knowledge of how to use email service providers such as Salesforce, Braze or Optimove.
    • Braze experience highly advantageous .
    • A very good understanding of IT-structures mainly for CRM and interest in tech-based solutions.
    • Experience in HTML, SQL or other programming language is a plus.
    • Experience with liquid language or JSON API responses is a plus.
    • Knowledge of email regulations, best practices and compliance internationally in various regulatory regimes (e.g., GDPR or POPPI).
