    Marketing Manager

      To provide the Commercial Team with the leadership and direction to achieve sales and local margins, through increasing the market share, providing directions for new markets, business opportunities and new products, and to facilitate an environment that encourages and recognizes success and results of both team and individual levels. To increase brand awareness by developing advocacy programs with stakeholders and key opinion leaders .

    Major Responsibilities

    MARKETING, SALES AND DIVISION MARGIN PERFORMANCE

    • Achieve annual sales and division margin plan and updates for the division.
    • Contributes to the creation of annual country and regional marketing plan including strategies to maximize profitability of the product portfolio, aligned with Area and global guidelines.
    • Creating regional demand for ADD portfolio in a customer-centric manner (exemplified by high satisfaction of needs, and therefore appropriately differentiated and adding value) by developing and overseeing the execution of the country marketing plan. This includes new product launches and definition of and segmentation of the market, targeting and positioning, and all aspects of the marketing mix (product, place, price, and integrated marketing/promotion).
    • Coordinate product promotional cycles to minimize the utilization of resources.

    Review promotional budget, coordinate changes as required and communicate at the proposed forecast stage.

    • Benchmark industry practices (competitors) and other affiliates marketing programs including Best Practices Sharing.
    • Control and coordinate the implementation of key marketing programs at the country level.
    • Achieve & maintain marketing KPIs at Class A level .

    Strategic Focus

    • Develop and review the long-range plan of the products annually. Prepare strategic action plans to maximize opportunities or avoid negative impact.
    • Business development: Participate in strategic planning initiatives including long-range plan to ensure profitable growth opportunities are supported and presented to senior management
    • Coordinate market and customer research activities and follow up industry trends and changes in healthcare reforms that will impact the business favourably or unfavourably.
    • Develops actionable Segmentation for under-developed customers/countries
    • Create customized value propositions and a burning platform for change for key under-served markets and key accounts.
    • Reinforce credibility for the developed Value Proposition with proof points (white papers, customer testimonials, scientific articles, etc ).
    • Support commercial team to win and retain country key accounts
    • Develop a mid-term succession plan by identifying and developing potential candidates to facilitate individual and team career development .

    Advocacy Programs And Key Opinion Leader Development

    • Develop and maintain rapport with key opinion leaders in the market place to identify trends, competitor activities and new opportunities.
    • Ensure marketing team works in the field with individual representatives both for personal development and solid feedback of the strategies.
    • Spend the required time in the field as defined in the Strategic Plan.
    • Develop and promote advocacy programs to improve ADD credibility and reputation.

    Education

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERTISE :

    University degree Scientific OR Medical OR Commercial OR Relatedis essential.

    Experience

    • A minimum of 5 years' Marketing management experience within the Health Care Industry.
    • Preference will be given to proven experience in the In-Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) market with a robust customer and environment understanding.
    • Customer-driven mentality and results-oriented.
    • Experience dealing with C-suite stakeholders is a plus.
    • Externally focused –curious about customers, competitors, technology, the marketplace and new marketing approaches and opportunities.
    • Proactive independent person, thinking strategically, asking “why?” and “what value will this bring to our region?” when making choices.
    • Knows how to build Tools/training to support the customer experience
    • Uses a test-and-learn approach to try out different ways of connecting with our customers
    • Experience developing tailored programs for country key accounts
    • Has a good understanding of potential channels to use to connect with customers (in particular digital channels).
    • Strong communication and moderation skills. Capable to present and moderate events at medium and large scale.
    • Candidate should be fluent in English, with French being advantageous
