    Marketing Manager

    Role Requirements:
    The group requires a skilled and driven individual, with key competencies and a proven track record in the following areas:

    • Digital: Strong digital marketing experience across all channels, in both aquisition and retention.
    • Experience: A robust understanding of luxury online brands in the travel sector. Entrenched supplier relationships and strong understanding of the African travel market required. The ability to negotiate and forge strategic product alignments advantageous. 
    • Creativity: A flair for creative thinking and a proven ability to execute. An ability to conceive and create customer journey relevant content in order to convert and retain customers. 
    • Management: The ability to direct, inspire and grow a marketing team. The ability to influence overall company ethos behind a cause. 
    • Tenacity and entrepreneurialism: The ability to do more with less, especially when competing with better known and bigger budget brands. A willingness to involve and execute personally at all levels of the Marketing Team. A desire to be the best.
    • Critical thinking: The ability to draw on relevant strategic experience in creating and maintaining long term and profitable brand positioning. Business acumen to understand quantitative analysis and how that influences the overall sales process and conversion rates.
    • Data centric: A strong understanding of acquisition, customer journey and LTV metrics, fully subscribed to by a data centric organisation utilising CRM technology (preferably Salesforce). Campaign management and ROI performance analysis on CRM level.
    • Relevance: Forward thinking insight as to omni-channels marketing and communication tools to remain customer centric. An exceptionally strong track record of online and offline marketing in the travel sector. 
    • Skills: an ability to understand and execute all required marketing programmes and applications. An ability to capture, create and edit content advantageous.
