    Marketing Relationship Specialist

    Purpose

    Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Relationship Specialist will be an intermediary between the company and its stakeholders (Clients, Healthcare Providers, Unions and Associations) and will be responsible to assist the department in executing and supporting RMA’s key stakeholder relationship strategy.

    Qualifications and Experience Required

    • NQF Level 7: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in health, community or business
    • 5 years experience in a similar role 2 of which must be in the insurance industry

    Key Areas of Responsibility

    Stakeholder relationship management:

    • Liaise with and maintain good relationships with all RMA stakeholders
    • Identify and generate valid leads for Sales
    • Elevate RMA’s brand presence through various brand activities
    • Address customer satisfaction issues promptly and escalate queries to the relevant departments
    • Identify training requirements and organise with the relevant departments where applicable
    • Provide first line product, process and technical support to stakeholders

    Brand management:

    • Create broader RMA brand awareness and promote an overall positive image for the company and its services
    • Distribute marketing material to promote brand and product awareness
    • Use stakeholder platforms to increase engagement (Website, Onsite, Conferences, Events etc)
    • Develop industry-related themed workshops with presentations
    • Recommend improvements for lead generation campaigns and provide new ideas

    Stakeholder and training management:

    • Facilitate after-sale onboarding for product, processes and online tools
    • Source and co-ordinate stakeholder venues for workshops
    • Manage the set up and registration process
    • Manage and close the loop for clients regarding queries coming from those workshops
    • Perform marketing ad hoc duties as and when the business requires 

    Planning and management of activities:

    • Develop a systematic approach to target stakeholder base to reach activity targets
    • Timeous, quality submissions for weekly and monthly activity reporting

    Knowledge, Skills and Competencies required

    • Technical knowledge of COIDA or life insurance
    • Computer literacy (MS Office - Intermediate)
    • Ability to interface with clients and staff
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Ability to interact with middle and senior management
    • Proficient in the use of e-mail and internet
    • Knowledge of Financial accounting would be an advantage
    • Administrative skills
    • Good Self-image (Presentable)
    • Verbal and written communication
