    Marketing Specialist, Consumer Business

    Responsible for specific disciplines such as market research and customer insights, contribution to marketing planning and implementation, marketing programs execution, pricing management, channel/product marketing, digital marketing programs implementation, New product launches execution, CRM utilization and development. Implementation of annual tactical plan aligned with the regional and portfolio team for the MEA Region.

    Key Job Responsibilities:

    Responsibility for driving and managing the designated product portfolio in Stationary & Office Supplies Division and Consumer Healthcare Division in South Africa Region

    • Contributing to creation of marketing plans:
      • Evaluate local market trends and execute opportunities
      • Calculate local market size, market dynamics, market share, portfolio performance analysis
      • Gather end-user insights, profiles, core needs and pain points, customer journey
      • Perform competition analysis
      • Develop and propose marketing tactics aligned to the regional growth programs / campaigns to drive prioritized portfolio in the local market
      • Tactical activities planning, including digital
    • Marketing plan execution:
      • Localization and/or execution of marketing growth programs / campaigns (both off-line and on-line)
      • New product launches execution
      • Working together with channel partners to execute on agreed campaigns, support them in joint marketing activities implementation
      • Uses data to accurately analyze market coverage and track channel performance. Coordinates the implementation and tracking of channel-specific programs or promotions. Drive with digital team and regional marketing lead the planning and execution of eCommerce strategies
    • Measurement of actions' effectiveness and KPIs
    • Manages project work to ensure that projects are on-time, complete and aligned with business strategies
    • Ensures compliance with industry and regulatory requirements and reporting regarding working with customers.
    • Marketing budget management
    • The position will closely cooperate with sales manager, regional marketing supervisor, regional portfolio & segment marketers, sales & marketing operations (brand / communications / insights / digital specialists) and supporting functions to execute marketing programs and tactics aimed at generating demand.

    Qualifications:

    • Higher Education
    • Degree in Marketing or Business Administration
    • Min 3-5 years marketing experience, ideally in the FMCG industry.
    • Experience in digital marketing, e-commerce is a must requirement
    • Self-driven, initiative and result-orientated
    • Creativity, openness, excellent communication skills result orientation
    • Great collaborator, team-player
    • Multitasking and good organization of work in a dynamic and changing environment
    • Openness to take on new challenges, quick learning
    • Analytical skills, computer literacy, Excel & PowerPoint fluency is a must
    • Fluent English
