    National Distribution Specialist

    GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION

    Is responsible for identifying, developing and managing new and existing Distribution channels for SUI business in the Sub-Saharan Africa region. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Coordinating, monitoring and managing internal and external relationships on national level between Ansell Stakeholders and Distribution partners in Sub-Saharan Africa.
    • Secure achievement of volume, top line and margin.
    • Coordinating and managing projects between Ansell and the distributors involving, Sales, Marketing, and Regional management.
    • Monitor, analyze and propose new strategic Distributor partners.
    • Interact with internal stake holders: Commercial Operations, Finance, and Regional Marketing, SUI GBUs, EMEA/Global (I)KAM’s, Legal, BI for the purpose of implementing new processes.
    • Maintain ongoing contact and communication with the SSA TSMs / ASM. 
    • Manage the Distribution process for the region and ensure that regional activities are aligned with global distribution strategies.
    • Deliver required support and provide feed-back and regional knowledge required for an efficient centralised negotiation.
    • Consolidate strategic innovation and value proposition opportunities within the realm of Personal protection products, services and management to challenge status quo and maximize relationship value at Distributor level and create process of communication of these opportunities to the SSA sales Team

    KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    Education

    • Bachelor degree or proven equivalent Business experience across multiple types of distribution channels.

    Job Experience

    • Minimum of 5 years Channel Management experience. Deep knowledge of SSA PPE market- and B2B channel structure on a regional and national level is a requirement.
    • Cross-functional Business experience
    • Experience from operating in a Global Matrix organization beneficial.
    • Knowledge of selling brands through diverse distribution channels and managing interference of distribution private label brands.
    • Languages: English fluently (written and spoken).
    • PC literate 
    • Proven track record in project management

    • Strong communication and presentation skills/ability to communicate to all levels and functions within Ansell and with external customers, including top executives
    • Understanding and ability to utilise a CRM system, based on SalesForce.

    • Ability and willingness to travel intensively across SSA region (min 50%)
    • Valid driving license cat. “B”
    • Valid passport
