    National Sales Manager

    Job Description
    The role

    • We are looking for an experienced National Sales Manager at our Kempton Park site. In this role you will be accountable to ensure the company market strategies are implemented and evaluated on a national basis. You need to achieve personal and team new business targets by selection and acquisition of profitable new business accounts.


    • Develop sales strategy plans, identify product development opportunities, budget preparation / control.
    • Planning, organising and control of sales activities to achieve profit objectives.
    • Meeting the commercial targets and identifying new business opportunities.
    • Building new client’s portfolio for Toll across South Africa.
    • Ensure that sales personnel attend to their duties efficiently and effectively.
    • Knowing our product portfolio, competition, market and customers.
    • Establishing and managing relationships with clients in need of freight transportation services.
    • Delivering service with high reliability and consistency, making it easier for the client to do business with Toll.

    About you

    To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

    • Minimum 5 years of previous experience in forwarding business, knowledge of market and requirements.
    • Good command of written and spoken English.
    • Proven sales experience and contract negotiation skills.
    • Proven Team Management experience and abilities to lead and manage a sales team
    • Ability to work under pressure and meeting targets.
    • Valid Drivers License cat. B.
    • Ability to work with MS Office tools, knowledge of Sales Force system would be an advantage.
