Non-Life Reserving Specialist

The actuarial department requires the service of a self-motivated individual, a go-getter with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and under pressure. The successful candidate will focus on reserving for both personal and commercial lines products and all actuarial duties pertaining to the role.

Qualifications and experience:

• Nearly/newly qualified Actuary (must have F103 exam)
• 2-3 years non-life reserving experience

Experience and technical competencies:

• Strong analytical and modelling capabilities
• Reserve recalibration and implementation
• Actual versus expected analyses on reserve methods and assumptions
• The production and reporting of annual and quarterly reserving results under IFRS/SAM
• Exposure to a wide range of lines of business
• SQL and Excel exposure required, ResQ experience would be desirable

• IFRS17
