    Operator Backstand

    Job Purpose

    • Reporting to the Production Foreman, the incumbent will be required to operate the cut-size work centre in accordance to the standard time efficiency and material efficiency targets.

    Education: Essential

    Essential

    • Matric (Maths and Physical Science) / NTC3 OR
    • Mondi RPE guidelines
    • Must have completed own job modules.

    Desirable

    • NDip (Pulp & Paper)

    Job Experience

    • At least 1 year manufacturing experience or
    • Qualified Production Learner

    Key Performance Areas

    • Complies with SHE rules and Regulations.
    • Adheres to 5S Housekeeping protocol
    • Ensures compliance to ISO 9002 QMS and the Finishing Quality Network
    • Complies with Waste / Cost Reduction program.
    • Reports accurately on shift operational performance.

    Job Competencies/ Attributes/Skills– Essential

    • Good communicate Skills (verbal and written)
    • Team player
    • Basic computer literacy
