    Performance Facilitator

    INTRODUCTION

    ROLE PURPOSE

    • Effectively facilitate and deliver learning interventions to support the achievement of learning, development and business goals.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Human Resources or Learning degree
    • OD-ETDP (Occupationally Directed Education Training Development Practice) certification (preferred)
    • Driver's license
    • 3-5 years learning facilitation experience in an insurance or financial services environment
    • Retail / sales experience will be an advantage.
    • Knowledge of skills development
    • Fit and proper: Class of Business (3 and 7); RE5; financial qualification will be advantageous
    • Excellent business and financial acumen (eg understanding of financial products, investments, tax etc)
    • Able to travel extensively

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND WORK OUTPUTS

    • Collaborate with HR team and business stakeholders to determine business learning requirements and gap in order to enhance learning delivery.
    • Contribute to the planning of learning interventions and the development of learning delivery plans in line with the WSP.
    • Collaborate with the Learning Development team and relevant subject matter experts to gain an understanding of the learning material which may be technical, tactical, system soft skills, management and leadership.
    • Complete all product specific training and be mandated on products prior to facilitating that solution
    • Study the content of the learning material to understand the intent of the programme.
    • Develop an innate understanding of the business strategy, systems and processes so that facilitation of solutions is within the context of our CVP
    • Analyse the audience’s needs and select or adapt training approach and activities in line with audience needs.
    • Communicate all logistics and requirements to the relevant administrator to ensure the learning intervention is run smoothly
    • Facilitate and deliver learning interventions in line with adult learning principles.
    • Incorporate motivating and interactive learning techniques to enhance the learning experience, in an effort to maximize learning and retention.
    • Plan and conduct learning activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration and work time that provides participants with the opportunity to observe, question, and investigate materials covered during the session.
    • Provide a positive learning environment in which participants are encouraged to be actively engaged in the learning process and achieve learning goals.
    • Conduct and administer competency assessments as well as assess application and integration of learning into the workplace and provide support to staff where applicable.
    • Gather evaluation and feedback on learning intervention and compile relevant reports.
    • Maintain effective and efficient record keeping on the relevant system eg Learner Management System.
    • Collaborate with Learning Development and Delivery teams by sharing best practises and knowledge to enhance service delivery.
    • Play the role of Learning partner within regions and represent the L&D strategy and agenda with channel management
