    Product Manager-Solar Inverters

    Your Responsibilities

    • Product lifecycle: Managing new products or systems or service launch and life cycle from phase-in to phase-out. Coordinating and supervising the product road map. Defining and overseeing recovery plans as necessary.
    • Profitability: Managing profitability and life cycle of one product or system or service line or group by defining product or system or service pricing guidelines and market
    • position.
    • Product monitoring: Overseeing inventory levels and sales volumes on a regular basis to ensure ability to fulfil customer orders. Tracking and analyzing product or system or service performance and trends in terms of volume and profitability.
    • Analysis: Coordinating analysis to evaluate market and contribute to marketing plan
    • development.
    • Sales support Ensuring technical and commercial support to Sales force for all negotiations.
    • R&D: Working with Research & Development (R&D) to propose and evaluate product
    • feasibility projects and roadmaps for new products or system or service and variants.
    • Marketing plan: Collaborating with internal marketing and sales teams to define the marketing plan, including marketing communication activities, training activities and sales
    • initiatives.
    • People leadership and development: Ensuring (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guiding, motivating and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.
    • Safety and integrity: Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
       

    Your background

    • A bachelor’s degree or diploma in electrical engineering.
    • Maximum 5 years of experience in Technical Sales within the solar environment with added experience of knowing UPS components and technology.
    • Required good experience of sales in utility market.
    • Strong Good communication and interpersonal skills.
