What you'll do
As part of OfferZen’s growth team, the product marketing manager will be the cross functional link between marketing, sales, and product. You will help define the messaging and positioning for our products and be the de-facto expert on who our customers are and what they need.
You’ll be creating deep knowledge of our customers and market, through customer interviews, competitor research, segmentation analysis and feedback coming from all teams within the company and turning that information into outputs that support our ops and product teams to better serve and sell to our customers.

Over the last 4 years we’ve managed to make a serious impact - and we’re speeding up: the team has exploded from 4 to 80+. Our company was founded by Philip and Malan Joubert, along with other successful tech startups like SnapScan, JourneyApps and Luno.A critical next step in our journey is to build out an ecosystem of tech partners who want to empower our community of developers. In December 2019 we launched our first ecosystem partnership with Investec - a Programmable Bank Account for Developers.
Right now we need someone to manage this critical project which will set us on a course to build a rich ecosystem aimed at empowering devs to build software that unlocks human potential.
What you’ll do
Initially your primary role will be as Project Manager for our partnership with Investec, helping them to build an amazing product, experience and community for devs and ultimately to deliver on the commercials of the partnership deal. This will set the stage for us to rapidly expand to more devs and partners and accelerate the development of the SA Tech Ecosystem.This is a high growth opportunity and will require a highly versatile individual that can work locally but think globally.

Tech events in our local ecosystem - both our own and those we support, are playing a big role in this: They help people connect, learn from each other and share useful experiences. They are one of the ways in which we execute on one of our core strategic initiatives - to build the best tech brand in SA. That’s why we want to level up our own events and the way we support other events in the tech ecosystem.
We are looking for someone to help us take our events mission to the next level. You’ll be responsible for the strategic impact, quality of execution and leading a team of high-energy individuals that have built up OfferZen events over the past year and run 9 events across Cape Town and Johannesburg, including our two flagship MERGE conferences.
We are looking for someone who has experience in translating business objectives into effective mission strategies, building strong relationships with high-stakes partners and who is proactively looking for opportunities to grow into. At the same time, our team needs someone who is keen to get hands-on involved in running the mission. We strongly believe in collaboration and you’ll be deeply involved in everything from ideation over the nitty-gritty of sourcing suppliers and speakers from top tech institutions across the world to executing at the actual events.

The Account Management team at OfferZen are the owners of the relationships we’ve built with the 1000+ companies that use our platform to grow their tech teams. We believe that there is still significant room for expansion within our existing client-base, with the acquisition of new clients, and the expansion into new markets, and that strong personal relationships with our clients is integral to each of those.

Working as an Enterprise Account Manager at OfferZen, you’ll also be exposed to South Africa’s top enterprises, and learn how they operate internally.
What you will be doing
As an Enterprise Account Manager, you will be responsible for entrenching OfferZen into the fabric of enterprise organisations. You’ll work with a small portfolio of enterprises with the aim of setting them up to buy a subscription and then helping them successfully adopt the platform. To do that you’ll need to build relationships with multiple stakeholders at different levels and in different business units, and help them successfully hire on OfferZen. You’ll likely need to leverage the full OfferZen offering including hiring, content & events.
