    Receptionist

    Key Purpose

    Receptionist Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately. Notifies company personnel of visitor arrival. Maintains security and telecommunications system.
    Maintains security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges.

    Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to

    • Managing the switchboard and messages
    • Assisting & Directing Visitors
    • Providing refreshment for visitors
    • Managing and placing refreshments orders
    • Managing and placing paper orders
    • Managing and placing marketing orders (Brochures)
    • Ensure marketing stock is packed neatly in the store room
    • Managing the security of the office
    • Managing the office keys and access cards
    • Managing the boardroom bookings
    • Assisting new advisors & assistants to be linked to the printer & scanner
    • Assisting advisers and PA’s with any adhoc duties (if possible).
    • Log calls for office maintenance
    • Log calls to 529- Help when server is down
    • Managing of the cleaning lady
    • Respond and attending to emails from Head Office, Regional Office and/or respective DFC’s
    • Monthly printing usage report
    • Monthly telephone usage report
    • Monthly space allocation report

    Education And Experience

    • Minimum grade 12
    • 2-3 switchboard experience
    • Atleast 1-year customer service experience
    • Computer literacy
    • Experience with Administrative and Clerical Procedures
