Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Agriculture related field
• 3 - 5 years’ experience in agronomy is required; experience in the seed industry is preferred
• Demonstrated field work experience is required
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills are required for fostering teamwork, enhancing a good working environment, and effectively developing strong working relationships with a diverse group of people
• High aptitude for learning
• Required to extensively travel to remote areas within South Africa accompanied by high workload with long hours and weekend work during seasonal peaks including overnight travel, sometimes for extended periods
• Physical ability to lift 20kg, ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, ability to stand/sit for extended periods.
