    Sales Manager Full Advice DFA

    Direct Financial Advice is a telephonic financial advice contact centre.

    You will be responsible for:

    • Hitting your sales target
    • Maintaining high quality levels (including the sign-off of Client Advice Records)
    • Coaching and up-skilling your financial advisors
    • Ensuring our processes and controls are followed
    • Maintaining a high performance climate

    The position has been identified as a FAIS position and falls within the ambit contemplated by FAIS related to Category B. The successful candidates must therefore comply with all FAIS requirements, including the Fit and Proper requirements of Honesty and Integrity (e.g. be clear of any offence relating to fraud, dishonesty and/or any professional misconduct) as well as competence and relevant RE qualifications. Product accreditation will be advantageous.

    Key areas of responsibility:

    • Ensure delivery of customer value proposition.
    • Responsible for distribution strategy of products within the team.
    • Ensure that advice provided is in accordance with FAIS requirements.
    • Identify & create coordinated sales opportunities through others.
    • Manage Leads actioning
    • Drive marketing initiatives within the team.
    • Ensure optimal utilization of leads and campaigns.
    • Manage sales & expense budget for a team of Financial Advisors against set targets.
    • Conduct regular and effective individual review meetings with each Financial Advisor within the sales team.
    • Lead weekly sales team meetings with the team and individual Financial Advisors.
    • Follow up on and resolve all problems and queries generated by the Financial Advisers.
    • Manage all performance management and IR issues.
    • Recruitment of Financial Advisors.
    • Ensuring that the Financial Advisors are trained and that they comply with the FAIS Fit and Proper requirements.
    • Resolution of customer complaints

    Basic Job Requirements:

    • Matric
    • Relevant FSB approved qualification is an essential requirement.
    • FAIS RE 5 is an essential requirement
    • Relevant long term insurance product experience/accreditation is an essential requirement.
    • At least 2 years’ experience managing a team within a sales environment is an essential requirement.
    • Previous experience within the financial services and call/contact centre industry essential.

    • Sound judgement and decision making ability.
