Manage sales colleagues to provide guidance on interaction with customers, presentations, accurate forecasting, sales enablement. Engage with potential new customers promoting Sage solutions with Business Partner. Providing market feedback/trends to the VP medium segment.. Execute the Payroll and HR sales strategy in the segment with sales colleagues and Business Partner. Work with supporting functions to streamline sales operational processes
Key Responsibilities Manage and exceed agreed revenue budgets for South Africa across all product lines
Ensure that your team is optimally staffed to support the budget ambitions for the region – responsible for recruiting and hiring process
Ensure the team is adequately supported and is trained to the appropriate skill level, aligned with the certification of Sage products
Ensure that Account Sales Management - yields budget results and adheres to best practice.
Discount Management (process and policy adherence)
Support and drive the sales process with the sales team – best practice to the channel
Provide input into a marketing strategy
Responsible for driving strategically imperative projects optimally according to the agreed to timelines (any delays are timeously communicated)
Identify and ensure along with key stakeholders that sales initiatives are actioned and managed.
Ensure all departmental hardware, software and budgetary requirements are accurately and optimally managed
Provide outstanding levels of leadership and management of the team
Measure existing KPIs, pull actionable insights, and build/maintain dashboards and reports that illustrate progress against quarterly basis.
Forecast sales volumes for budget / resources planning and be able to present to leadership team
Advising on changes and trends in the marketplace and competitor activities.
Oversee staff performance and personal development plans (incl. setting KPAs/KPIs, lead reviews and performance management)
Identify and implement best practices, including driving continuous improvement processes
Support ad hoc NCA projects to drive revenue and growth as required.
Stakeholder management across the business value chain.
Play an integral role in supporting the company’s cloud migration strategy
Drive team dynamics, instant execution and build relationships between teams and the channel
