    Sales Planning Analyst

    The Sales Planning Analyst is responsible for …

    Position Details:

    • Oversee accuracy of vehicle entity setups in conjunction with product marketing. Including VSTA constraints and options. 
    • Assist Sales Programming Manager in formulating the monthly sales program: 
    • Non-Dealer channels - Obtain input / negotiate / interrogate all nonDealer channel sales plans and compile the free demand input. 
    • Liaise with source plants to ensure order fulfillment to requirements 
    • Attending constraints meetings and any other meetings related to order fulfilment 
    • Negotiate monthly allocations and required production mix with IMG team to support delivering the sales program. 
    • Managing input into DBP in conjunction with Field Ops. Analyst 
    • Managing all aspects of the order bank: 
    • Maximize Company stock-turn well as Dealer and non-Dealer channel inventory. 
    • Ongoing order rendition and alignment of order bank and allocations from all source plants, including selective cancellation of aged, unbuilt orders. 
    • Minimizing unallocated / company stock 
    • Manage aged inventory in conjunction with all internal stakeholders. 
    • Managing OTD logistics (from source plants to Dealer delivery) in conjunction with MP&L and Motorvia. 
    • Liaison with MP&L and freight partners to deliver on time, every time. 
    • Issuing weekly shipping / arrivals reports 6. Production Shipping / Arrival / Stock Management 
    • Daily / weekly / monthly comparisons to expected versus actual production / shipping / arrivals 
    • Ongoing ageing monitoring and developing action plans to control ageing in all channels
    • Maintaining all aspects of NAAMSA / Lightstone system / parameter setup: 
    • Maintaining FMCSA Segmentation in Lightstone setup in conjunction with the supplier. 
    • Preparation of ad-hoc management reports and presentations.

    Performance Measures:

    • Company stock levels within budgeted parameters 
    • Company stock ageing within budgeted parameters 
    • Order accuracy (correct entity setup etc) 
    • Order bank alignment with allocations. 
    • Dealer allocation aligned with historical sales rates = minimizing Company inventory 
    • No deadlines missed 

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Passion for numbers, analysis, statistic and creative ways to turn data into information. 
    • Accuracy is everything - no room for error. 
    • Never miss a deadline – whatever it takes. 
    • Advanced Excel user – ideally proficient with macros and VBA 
    • Proficiency in database tools such as Alteryx and ClickView is a distinct advantage. 
    • Understanding of Ford sales systems such as VISTA and SEER is an advantage 
    • Clear and concise communication skills 
    • Understanding of the automotive field operations environment
    •  Ability to comfortably and credibly present to groups of people 
    • Strong writing skills 
    • Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach 
    •  Ability to work cross functionally with internal partners in various Departments 
    • Building relationships (Collaboration & Teamwork), team player 
    •  Flexibility, adaptability and achieving change 
    • Integrity (behaves with honour and dignity), Courage, must respect confidentiality 
    • Commitment to quality & drive for results

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce 
    • Formal MS Excel and database management software training is an advantage 
    • 3 - 5 Years of relevant experience 
    • Automotive experience is desired but not essential
