    LPD Sales Representative new

     

    Job description

    You will be actively contributing to the growth of our organization by selling and promoting IDEXX products and services to the LPD industry within South Africa. Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with key business leaders will help you grow our market share. Therefore, your will reach out to labs, corporates, government, universities, poultry houses, farms and KOL’s to make the first contact and familiarize them with our products and services, educate them and facilitate training. In this role you will work closely with your manager and the marketing team. Together you will determine the sales strategy, current product positioning and promotion and define new propositions. Besides that, you collaborate with other Sales Representatives of other business lines to optimize results.

    Qualifications

    Who we are looking for For this versatile job we are looking for a versatile candidate! You have at least a few years of experience and a proven track record within Sales. You love animals and have a background in laboratory equipment, animal diagnostic or another scientific background with good knowledge of animal health. Besides your relevant education and working experience you are someone who adapts easily to different levels, different kind of organizations and to different scenario’s. One day you might be talking to a procurement specialist within a commercial business, the other day you might be training a farmer on how to use our tests. You will be meeting a lot of different people in different regions, so that also means you will spend a lot of time travelling. Your influencing and negotiating skills are well developed and you know how to close a sale. You can translate customer needs into solutions In summary, you have a strong and positive personality and are willing to go the extra mile to reach your targets and make your customers happy. You are eager and ambitious to grow along with the organization.
