Sales Representative 

Our client, a family-owned publishing business in Hout Bay, in the print media and advertising industry is seeking a young and upcoming Sales Rep to join their close-knit team. You will be driving new client acquisition and retention by introducing the magazine to potential advertisers.

The ideal candidate will be a confident individual with an outgoing, bubbly personality, someone that can proactively manage their own output to achieve results in a competitive industry.

Media sales or advertising sales exposure would be largely beneficial to hit the ground running. Individuals from the beauty and medical sales rep world will be beneficial. Ideally, an individual with a decent dose of sales experience, strong interpersonal skills, confidence and bags of energy to offer.

• Should be able to create and maintain good relationships with clients
• Keen interest in print media, publishing, journalism
• Experience in the beauty and/ or medical sales world
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Able to work well under pressure
• Confident in own ability to self-manage activities, but able to work closely in a team
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to take initiative
• Passionate and vibrant personality
• Must be able to balance creative and business

Qualifications and experience:

• Ideally tertiary education, minimum Matric
• Sales experience
• 2 years plus advertising sales experience (print advantageous)
• Reputable base of advertising clients and accounts
• Package: Basic + comm + petrol + expenses + flexible working hours
