    Sales Specialist - Servers and Networking

    Key Responsibilities

    Your objective will be to drive growth across a portfolio of accounts to achieve targets and grow market share. You will be expected to build strong customer relationships within your respective territory and keep abreast of market trends to develop and execute strategies that deliver high value solution focused sales. The role will involve:

    • Focus on the top regional partners and accounts to drive profitable growth within the accounts while developing strategic plans to enable future growth in your territory
    • Prepare detailed product specifications for the purpose of selling high end Servers and Networking products and solutions.
    • Lead account management, including account planning and sales forecasting and engaging cross-functional resources
    • Advising customers/partners on strategic business and technology solutions
    • Working with the account teams to ensure alignment across the organizations
    • Providing sales leadership and experience on large, complex sales opportunities
    • Become the technical knowledge resource for your product portfolio and present and market these products

    Essential Requirements

    • Proven sales track record
    • Extensive experience of selling datacentre solutions specific to networking and compute
    • Advanced knowledge of Servers and related solutions to aid in technical environment designs being the subject matter expert in one or more workloads (SAP HANA, Oracle, HPC, AI/ML, SDS, SDN, VDI, HCI and Hybrid Cloud environments)
    • Ability to provide insight and thought leadership to senior/CXO/partner leadership to position solutions that will positively impact the Customer’s business
    • Deep expertise of market trends that impact on Dell’s customers
    • Effective presentation, negotiation and executive relationship-building skills
    • Fluency in English
