    SAP Security Analyst

    Position Purpose:

    • The SAP Security Analyst is responsible for building and supporting SAP Security design, redesign, strategy and global customer support.
    • SAP Security Analyst role covers all Global IT SAP applications across all regions.
    • Assist the SAP Application Security Manager to drive SAP system related business process improvements for key business areas.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Design, build, test and implement SAP Security functions based on a solid understanding of all phases of the systems life cycle.
    • Resolve end-user production support security issues in a timely and accurate manner. Work within change management guidelines ensuring all transports move into production maintaining system integrity.
    • Use Segregation of Duties tools to enforce roles and responsibilities, role change control and SOD compliance.
    • Ensures compliance to security policies, procedures and IT controls in place.
    •  Assists with SAP upgrade process, with specific focus on security impact.
    • Daily administration, support and trouble-shooting of SAP security across the SAP NetWeaver and periphery landscapes.
    • Relies on business knowledge and technology to propose value added yet audit compliant solutions for the business challenges at Brambles.
    • The person in this role delivers systems and services that meet or exceed Service Level Agreements (SLA) while identifying and implementing improvements.
    • Deals with external and internal auditors.
    • Provides input into license compliance and communicates with vendors.
    • Willing to provide on-call support as needed.
    • Analyse, develop and configure security roles as per business requirements and determine appropriate security solutions to meet the requirements.

    Required Qualification, Experience and Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field highly desired.
    • Involvement in full SAP R/3 & BW/BI or other ERP implementations or upgrades
    • SAP Authorization Concept
    • SAP Security role design and development
    • Profile Generator
    • SOX IT General Controls
    • Four years of SAP security experience is required.
    • One year of business process improvement experience is preferred. 
    •  One year of Compliance (SoD) related experience is preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.

       Skills and Knowledge

    • SAP Security application expertise (i.e. ERP, BW, Hana, Fiori).
    • Detailed understanding of SAP security concepts (i.e. roles, profiles, profile generator, user administration).
    • Knowledge in global risk and compliance tools and processes to manage and avoid critical combinations of access.
    • Understanding of SAP Java and ABAP stack administration.
    • Understanding of SAP transport and correction system.
    • Understanding of Single sign-on technologies and Identity Management.
    • Knowledgeable of emerging technology trends and solutions.
    • Committed to continual learning for self.
    • Strong customer service skills.
    • Strong problem solving skills including root cause analysis.
    • Solid communication skills.
    • Strong team player.
    • Solid understanding of fundamental business processes and organization structures.
    • Effectively plans and controls workload for self.
    • Working knowledge of office productivity tools.
    • Understands or develops knowledge on Brambles business quickly. Experience in a logistic company or distribution company is an advantage.
    • Demonstrates innovation in solutions while supporting common processes and approaches
    • Understands technology direction in the company.
    • Applies creative problem solving and systems thinking Creates and maintains system documentation for area of responsibility.
