    Senior Consultant

    The Role

    As a Senior Consultant, you will lead the delivery of complex projects that identify, design, and implement effective solutions to produce a lasting impact for clients. You will be expected to manage projects and client expectations as well as manage the team to deliver high performance.

    Beyond client project work, the Senior Consultant will contribute to the development of new clients and markets, delivery of presentations to executives, and creation of thought leadership. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication and client management skills to maintain positive client relations and high client satisfaction levels. The candidate must be a self-starter, who is able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment and must be driven to produce improvement initiatives both internally and with clients. Your key responsibilities will be:

    • Building and leveraging new networks to drive client acquisition and business development
    • Managing the execution of complex consulting engagements to ensure the project and deliverables meet or exceed the client's requirements and expectations and deliver superior value to clients. This entails:
    • Identifying resource requirements, in line with the scope and objectives of the engagement
    • Managing projects by providing technical guidance and direction as well as project administration (including project profitability)
    • Managing key stakeholders at Executive and Management Level to ensure client's expectations are fully met
    • Proactively identifying issues and risks, examining alternatives, and pursuing the optimal course of actions to minimize adverse impact and maximize project success
    • Working with the Managing Director/ Practice Leads in developing new business leads and opportunities to grow the business
    • Playing an active role in building the firm by:
    • Participating and contributing to Shared Value initiatives where the Company gives back to the community
    • Mentoring / coaching junior colleagues to support their development within the organisation

    Your Qualification Profile:

    • Bachelors’ Degree with Honours in Engineering or a Master’s Degree in any other degree (MBA preferred)
    • 5 – 7 years’ work experience in management consulting (preferably Tier 1 Strategy Advisory)
    • Project management certification (e.g. PMP) (advantage)
    • Key experience and competencies:
    • Ability to work effectively, both individually and in teams
    • Ability to work in a dynamic and unstructured environment (Manages change and ambiguity)
    • Ability to work with limited instruction/guidance/supervision
    • Business Knowledge and Industry Insight
    • Develops Self and Others
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to extensively interact with clients at all levels
    • Excellent planning and organising skills
    • Excellent user skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word (Visio, MS Project and SharePoint beneficial)
    • Excellent verbal and written communication (English)
    • Experience in managing projects in the areas of strategy, business process reengineering, organisational design or financial turnaround

    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Willingness to travel (required)
