Senior Consultant: Business Transformation at FTI Consulting

About the Role:

The Business Transformation Practice (BTP) is a growing team focused on providing excellent Strategic and Operational Consulting to Private Equity and Corporate clients. BTP sits within FTI's Corporate Finance Team and forms an integral part of a uniquely wide range of Corporate Finance capabilities - from financial transaction support to restructuring. BTP also benefits from working closely with the diverse industry and functional capabilities of the wider FTI Consulting organisation which has world class capability in Strategic Communications, Economics and Regulatory affairs, Technology and Financial Advisory.

What You'll Do:
The successful candidate will participate in project teams, working with clients on the execution of various engagements. As such, key activities include:

• Review and analyse financial statements and projections and assess business plans
• Undertake company and industry analysis
• Perform financial, ratio and comparable company analysis and developing three-way financial models
• Attend client sites and assist senior staff in carrying out duties and collating information required
• Assist with the preparation of draft reports, presentations and correspondence
• Interact with clients, including lawyers, in house counsel and senior accounting personnel
• Undertake networking and marketing activities to begin to develop professional contacts

Essential Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Chartered Accountant or working towards certification
• Minimum 3 years of public accounting or financial/operations consulting experience
• High level competency in Excel, Powerpoint and presentation preparation
• Excellent analytical, financial modelling and quantitative skills
• Attention to detail
• Business acumen
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Experience interacting with senior management teams
