    Main purpose of position

    • Currently we are looking for a Senior Human Resources Advisor in Cape Town, South Africa to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future. As our Senior Human Resources Advisor, you will collaborate with the Global organisation towards providing an employee-orientated; high performance culture and work environment that emphasizes empowerment, equality, productivity, and alignment towards implementation of global policies and procedures.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Develop and manage the regional HR team and Office Manager according to the leadership traits at Scatec and aligning to the organisational value
    • Ensure timely recruitment of required level and quality of new hires with appropriate global approvals to meet business needs
    • Ensure compliance of submission of annual training report and Workplace Skills plan
    • Manage the regional training and development budget
    • Collaborate with line managers and global HR towards competency building, mapping and succession planning
    • Recommend strategic direction for people development within the regional organisation
    • Manage the annual and salary review process for the region
    • Ensure submission of benchmarking data timeously to align with salary review period
    • Prepare information for salary and bonus budgets
    • Manage the submission of the internal Company newsletter


    Qualifications

    • 10+ years’ experience in Human Resources
    • 5+ years’ experience in management
    • Postgraduate qualification in HR or business with HR module(s)
    • Experience of working in a matrix organization
    • Worked internationally – preferred
    • IT knowledge – familiar with e.g. SharePoint and MS Exchange
