    Senior Manager - Investor Services and Onboarding

    Role summary:

    To develop and manage the Investor Services team with responsibility for the ongoing maintenance of the investor registers and seamless client servicing for funds administered by Sanne Group. This includes the full onboarding of investors, and all AML collection, verification and signoff.

    The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that all client relationships are managed in line with agreed service levels and that services and delivery is of the high standard expected by clients and Sanne Group. They must be detail‐oriented with the ability to multi‐task, prioritize work assignments, communicate effectively with internal staff and clients, and complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner. Follow‐through

    skills and supervisory, time management are critical elements of this position. They will be expected to manage a team to completion of these goals, and develop the team in line with the Sanne Group culture.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Identify the training and development needs of his/her team;
    • Direct, motivate and Mentor team members;
    • Assist with authorising of transactions in administration system and checking month‐end statements;
    • Ensure service levels are maintained;
    • Liaise with clients and assist with any queries from internal and external parties, maintaining relationships and high level of service;
    • Planning and controlling team workload and workflow;
    • Monitor the team and deliverables through the month end period, particularly around transaction processing;
    • Provide informal, on‐the‐job training for team members;
    • Liaise with other operational departments in respect of issues affecting the output of the team;
    • Ensure that Investor Services procedures are correctly followed by the team under their supervision;
    • Ensure that services are provided in line with agreed SLA’s
    • Ensure that all client queries are resolved timeously;
    • Suggest and implement Investor Services procedures and process improvements;
    • Ensure that all filing for this section is kept up to date and is performed in a neat and orderly manner;
    • Review and sign‐off of Investor KYC, Client and Counterparty DD files; Ensure that all systems, including PFS‐Paxus and Console, are up to date with all information in line with team processes and responsibilities;
    • Assist with Investigation and resolution of client, KYC and DD exceptions and queries, when escalation is required;
    • Conduct reviews and quality checks on sanction screening;
    • Awareness of relevant regulatory changes; Ensure that creation/liquidation information on regulated portfolios is provided as needed.

    Skills / experience required:

    • Relevant postgraduate degree;
    • In depth experience dealing with external parties such as fund managers, administrators, auditors and investors;
    • In depth experience in a KYC or DD role at a management level within the financial services industry;
    • High level of computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications;
    • Good working knowledge of Anti‐Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Terrorism Financing (CTF) regulations and processes;
    • Good working knowledge of Investor Services processes;
    • Strong leadership and teamwork skills;
    • Good communication skills (verbal and written);
    • Self‐disciplined, Reliable and Adaptable;
    • Attention to detail;
    • Good analysis and problem solving skills;
    • Deadline driven;
    • Ability to manage a team and interact at all levels;
    • Organised and self‐disciplined;
    • The ability to work under pressure;
    • A high level of problem‐solving skills and
    • Exceptional communication skills.
