Senior Travel Consultant at BushBreaks & More

Job Responsibilities:

• Reservations
• Management of client bookings
• Advising clients on suitable lodges for their needs & budget – being a bush lodge expert
• Looking after all aspects of the booking and ensuring the client has an excellent customer experience with BushBreaks

Skills required

• Very good knowledge of bush lodges & game reserves in Southern Africa
• A good understanding of rates and applying special discounted rates
• Good people skills, and the ability to comfortably discuss options with clients
• A team player with a positive attitude
• Passion for client service
• Someone who is target driven, and willing to go the extra mile for clients
• Someone with initiative who is pro-active
• Good organisational skills

Qualifications and experience 

• At least six years experience in the travel industry, preferably in a tour operator environment
• A relevant travel degree is preferable
• Reservations experience is essential   
• Knowledge of the bush lodges & game reserves in Southern Africa will be advantageous
• Experience with Tourplan advantageous
